An IT services company may offer development, maintenance, cloud migration, and staffing. Putting the full catalogue into an introductory email makes the recipient work out why any of it matters.

Choose one service and one audience

Separate a modernization campaign from a staff augmentation campaign. They can involve different stakeholders, evidence, buying processes, and objections. Define the problem you are equipped to discuss before writing the message.

Use an observation you can support

A product launch, a published platform change, or a relevant job opening can provide context. Do not claim knowledge of internal delays, hiring difficulties, or outdated systems without evidence.

An illustrative message

Hi Alex, I saw your team is recruiting engineers for its platform expansion. We support engineering teams with contract development capacity in [verified skill]. Is external capacity something your team considers, or does this sit with someone else?

This is an example structure. Replace the observation and capability with verified information before using it. It makes no claim that the company needs help.

Match the follow-up to the question

A useful follow-up can share a relevant delivery example or clarify the type of engagement. Repeating the same service list adds little. Stop when the person declines or asks not to be contacted.

Measure commercial relevance

Review positive replies, meetings held, and opportunities accepted by sales. A high message count does not establish that you have found the right buyers.
